Mobile Field Force training prepares El Paso Border Patrol agents for migrant incidents

Immigration

Several highly-trained Border Patrol agents gathered in Sunland Park Friday morning to participate in a Mobile Field Force training exercise.

During the training, 30 agents from different divisions and special forces prepared for migrant incidents, much like the ones in Tijuana and San Diego.

“We’re always ready and this is why we train…so when the day it happens, we are well prepared for anything,” Ramiro Cordero told KTSM.

The Border Patrol also said the trainings help them fulfill their duty to keep the border safe and secure.
