Border Patrol agents apprehended more than two dozen migrants near the border in El Paso’s Lower Valley Friday morning.
Officials say agents picked up 31 people along the Border Highway near Yarbrough at about 9:45 a.m.
A Border Patrol spokesperson says most of the people in the group are from Guatemala.
The migrants were taken to the Ysleta Border Patrol processing station.
About an hour and a half later, another 133 migrants from Central America surrendered themselves at the processing station, according to officials.
