Downtown El Paso has once again transformed into a holiday wonderland as WinterFest officially kicks off its third season at Arts Festival Plaza on Saturday.
This year, the seven-week-long event will include ice skating, a life-size snow globe, holiday movies, and other fun attractions.
Ice skating passes are available for $8 for 50 minutes with skate rentals included. Passes for military, teachers, and first responders are $7, and $5 for children five and under.

The Plaza Theatre will screen free holiday movies including “Elf”, “The Polar Express”, “Frozen”, and more. Click HERE for the full schedule.
