At the end of Tuesday night, Republican Yvette Herrell was leading Democrat Xochitl Torres-Small in one of New Mexico’s Congressional seats.

However, Torres-Small said she is not ready to concede.

She made a speech saying that she plans to wait for all of the votes to be tallied and will not concede to Herell for New Mexico 2nd Congressional District seat.

“This has been a hard fought campaign and it’s been hard fought on both sides,” Torres-Small said. “We’ve seen people showing up in ways no one knew were possible. And we’ve seen people voting, getting out, voting in all sorts of ways. And we’ve seen people waiting in line for a long time just to make sure their voice was heard.”
