Two men arrested for narcotics at East El Paso post office

Two men were arrested on suspicion of drug charges Tuesday outside of a U.S. Post Office in East El Paso.

Robert Barraza, 20, and Oscar Nevarez, 22, were allegedly carrying packages to their car when detectives who were working on an ongoing investigation approached them.

The packages allegedly contained 13 pounds of marijuana and 1,300 cartridges of liquid THC, police said.

Both men were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance. They were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. Barraza’s bond was set at $170,000 and Nevarez’ bond was set at $103,000.
