Two cars hit pedestrian and flee in Las Cruces, police seek drivers

Las Cruces Police are looking for the drivers of two vehicles that struck a man and then fled the scene.

The crash happened at about 5 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the 1400 block of El Paseo Road.

Police said an 67-year-old man was crossing the street when he was struck by three vehicles, but only one stayed on the scene. That vehicle was a Hyundai sedan.

A white SUV and a light-colored Ford F-150 pickup truck also hit the man but continued to drive north of El Paseo Road.

The man was taken to MountainView Regional Medical Center with multiple injuries, but they are not considered life-threatening. 

Anyone with information on the two drivers that left the scene is asked to call police or Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. A $1,000 reward is out for information that leads to an arrest.
