EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A third judge has been assigned to the case of a 21-year-old man accused of killing a Gadsden High School student in a hit-and-run crash.

Oscar Anchondo is charged with vehicular homicide in connection with the death of 16-year-old Beto Romero on April 2.

Anchondo will remain in jail until May when Judge Marci Beyer will decide if he is granted bail. His original bail, of $5,000, set by Judge Douglas Diggers was revoked after Anchondo left his mother’s home.
