Teenager arrested in Northeast El Paso murder case

A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with the slaying of a 57-year-old man.

Aerious Neko Rutledge, who has no permanent address in El Paso, was arrested in Far East El Paso on Wednesday. He is suspected of shooting Robert Noble Tuesday morning in the 5100 block of Raymond Telles, the El Paso Police Department said in a news release.

Rutledge was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $1 million bond. The police department’s Crimes Against Persons unit, SWAT team, Pebble Hills Regional Command Officers and U.S. Marshal’s Office all helped in arresting him.

Noble was found with a gunshot wound to his body on Tuesday. He was taken to a local hospital where he died, police said.
