Police have named the victim and suspect in a Far East El Paso murder early Sunday morning.
As KTSM previously reported, it happened at about 3:45 a.m. at a home on the 14900 block of Harry Flournoy.
According to police, officers found Lea Grijalva, 26, dead inside the home.
Investigators say Grijalva got into an argument with Daniel Valles, 23, whom she was in a serious relationship and lived with.
According to a news release, the couple got into an argument over suspicions of infidelity before Valles allegedly strangled the victim.
Police say the man then told witnesses that he had killed Grijalva.
Valles is charged with murder and was booked into the El Paso County Jail under a $2 million bond.
