Two men are in jail after officers discovered them in possession of cocaine during a traffic stop on Thursday.
According to a news release, police pulled over a car driving on the 10400 block of Lambda at about 6:20 p.m. because its license plate light was out.
Officers then found that the driver and passenger, Victor Mejia, 33, and Jose Aguayo, 32, had five grams of cocaine inside.
Further investigation later revealed that Aguayo was in possession of an additional 1.1 grams of the drug in his front pocket.
Both men were booked into the El Paso County Jail for Possession of Controlled Substance (Cocaine) >=4 grams < 200 grams.
