Military equipment stolen from Fort Bliss, reward offered

The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command needs your help finding those responsible for stealing several pieces of military equipment from Fort Bliss last year.

According to a news release, the following equipment was stolen between July and December 2018:

  • 36 Mechanic Toolboxes were taken from the Supply Area of Forward Support Company, 1-37th Armored, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team (Bldg. 20515 Old Ironsides Rd)
  • 104 Avon M50 Protective Masks were taken from the Supply Area of Bravo Company, 86thExpeditionary Signal Battalion (Bldg. 21105, Quarter Master Ave.)
  •  27 Avon M50 Protective Masks were taken from the Supply Area of Alpha Company, 3-41 Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team (Bldg. 21285 Quarter Master Ave.)
  • 19 Avon M50 Protective Masks and 12 HP Laptops were taken from the Supply Area of Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, Division Artillery (Supply Area of Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, Division Artillery)

Investigators are offering up to an $8,000 reward for infomation leading to an arrest of the thieves.  

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fort Bliss CID Office at 915-568-1700 or the Fort Bliss Military Police at 915-744-1237.
