Man steals money, cigarettes from Northeast El Paso store

Detectives need your help finding the two men involved in the armed robbery of a Northeast El Paso store last month.

According to a news release, it happened the night of Dec. 30 at the Beers & Babes store located at 8440 Dyer. 

Officials say one of the men walked into the store and threatened the clerk with a handgun before demanding money and two packs of “Newport” cigarettes.

The man then left the scene with both the money and cigarettes while the other suspect acted as a lookout.

Investigators describe the first suspect as a Hispanic man, 18-25 years old, and about 5’7″ tall. He was wearing a black hoodie with two thin white stripes, a black bandana covering his face, dark pants, red sneakers, and a red backpack.

The second man is described as a young Hispanic man, 5’7″ tall, and with a lightly-trimmed mustache with sideburns. He was wearing a hooded, two-tone-colored jacket with a light color on the shoulders, dark jeans with the legs rolled up, and white sneakers.
