Man steals $1,300 cell phone from Las Cruces Walmart

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KTSM) – The Las Cruces Police Department is looking for a man they say stole a $1,300 cell phone from Walmart.

The theft happened at about 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 22 at the Walmart at 571 Walton Boulevard, Police said in a news release.

“Police believe the suspect concealed a brand new cell phone valued at $1,399 before leaving the store without paying,” the release said. “Walmart security cameras captured images of the suspect as he entered and left the store.”

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1,000 which almost could buy you a phone of your own. 

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-222-8477 or leave a tip through the Las Cruces Crime Stoppers app “P3 TIPS.”
