Man sought for allegedly placing credit card skimmer on East El Paso ATM


Detectives need your help finding the man accused of placing a credit card skimmer on an East El Paso ATM over the summer.

According to a news release, the suspect approached the ATM inside a Circle K store located at 7800 Gateway East on the morning of July 28.

Officials say the man placed the device on the machine and walked out of the store.

Employees later discovered the skimmer when a customer attempting to use the ATM saw it detach from the machine.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man in his 20s with an average build.

He was wearing a camouflage baseball hat, black frame eye glasses, a dark jacket, dark t-shirt with an American flag, and dark pants.
