Man allegedly fires handgun during Northeast El Paso convenience store holdup

Police need your help identifying a man accused of holding up a Northeast El Paso convenience store and firing his handgun inside of it.

According to a news release, the incident happened at about 6 a.m. on October 13 at the 7-Eleven store located at 10418 Rushing.

Investigators say the man walked into the store, pointed the silver semiautomatic pistol at the clerk, and demanded money.

He then allegedly fired the handgun and struck the soda fountain area. The suspect left the store with a small undisclosed amount of money. 

No injuries were reported.

Police describe the man as 5’6″ with a medium to husky build. He was wearing a partial mask that covered his face, a brown coat, a blue button up shirt, blue denim jeans, and white athletic shoes.
