EPPD responding to shooting in Central El Paso

UPDATE: One man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. 

ORIGINAL: El Paso Police are responding to reports of a possible shooting in Central El Paso.

The call came in at 6:09 a.m. Wednesday to an address in the 1100 block of East Yandell between Octavia Street and Nobel Street. At this time, information is limited, but El Paso Police and EMS have been dispatched to the scene.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured or the extent of any possible injuries. Expect heavy police presence in the area. 

 A KTSM crew is en route to the scene of the shooting, we will have updates as soon as they become available.
