El Paso Sheriff’s still searching for teenage murder suspect

A 19-year-old accused of murder is still wanted by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

Arath Jauregui is the lead suspect in the slaying of Jose Guadalupe Reazola, 19, who was found dead in a far East El Paso desert on April 4, 2018, according to a Crime Stoppers of El Paso news release.

Police describe Jauregui as a Hispanic male, standing at about 5 feet, 5 inches and weighing 135 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, the release said. 

He has “Jauregui” tattooed on his right forearm and a spider-web tattooed on his right elbow. 

His is considered dangerous, the release said. 

Anyone with information on Jauregui is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 566-8477. You can also leave a tip online at crimestoppersofelpaso.org. Crime Stoppers allows tipsters to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward.
