A registered sex offender has been accused of exposing himself in public, police said.

Robert Garza, 59, was arrested on Dec. 15 after an investigation determined that he allegedly “exposed himself while performing a lewd act,” on Nov. 2, according to an El Paso Police Department news release.

A woman reported the confrontation to police and detectives obtained a warrant for him earlier this month, the release said.

He was found at his house, arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $7,000 bond.
