An El Paso man is in jail for allegedly possessing several files of child pornography, according to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations unit.

Officials say agents arrested Peter Sebastian Felix, 25, on April 18 after executing a federal search warrant at his East El Paso home.

According to a news release, agents seized a laptop, USB, and external hard drive containing more than 50 files containing suspected child sexual exploitation material.

Felix is being held at the El Paso County Jail without bond.

“HSI’s longstanding Operation Predator program is designed to protect children — the most vulnerable in our society who cannot protect themselves,” said Jack P. Staton, a special agent in charge of HSI El Paso. “We use all our law enforcement resources and authority to bring predators to justice, and to rescue their victims.”

Anyone with any information related to this case can call the HSI Tip Line at 1-866-DHS-2-ICE.
