Detectives search for man accused of breaking into Dona Ana County home

The Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Department needs your help finding a man suspected of breaking into a Las Cruces area home Saturday night.

According to a news release, deputies responded to the alleged burglary in the San Miguel area at about 9 p.m. 

The residents told investigators that they had been out earlier that evening and came home to find the man inside.

Detectives have identified the suspect as Danny Sanchez Jr., whose last known address is on the 400 block of Las Flores Circle. 

According to officials, a no-bond, nationwide extradition warrant was issued Monday for his arrest. Sanchez is wanted on one count of residential burglary and larceny.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to call the detective assigned to the case, (575) 525-8879.
