Authorities search for sex offender who moved from listed address

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office needs your help finding a sex offender who reportedly moved from his registered address.

During a routine home check, officials say deputies discovered that Luis Manuel Villareal no longer lived at his listed home.

According to a news release, sex offenders are required by law to notify the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registration Unit of changes in address.

Investigators say Villareal was convicted of the sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to call the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 915-538-2008.
