Authorities search for hit-and-run driver responsible for woman’s death

El Paso Police are featuring the hit-and-run death of a 45-year-old woman earlier this month as their ‘Crime of the Week.”

The crash happened on the night of Saturday, April 13, 2019 sometime before 9:55 p.m. in the 7000 block of Airport Rd., between Butterfield Trail Boulevard and Leigh Fisher Boulevard. The woman was walking south when she was hit by an unknown southbound vehicle who then fled the scene.
