Wyler Aerial Tramway State Park will be celebrating its 14th year anniversary since its re-opening, and wants to invite the public to join the celebration that will take place Saturday, March 14th 2015 from 12:00PM to 5:00PM. Park visitors will be able to enjoy interpretive tours, door prizes, visit several educational exhibits, local food vendors, and live entertainment.

Parking for the event will be at Bienvivir Senior Health Services (2300 McKinley Ave.) down the street from the park, shuttles will be available to bring visitors to the Park and back to their vehicles.

This is a great opportunity to visit the park and see all the Wyler Aerial Tramway has to offer and to enjoy life outdoors.

The Wyler Aerial Tramway first opened to the public in 1960 as El Paso Aerial Tramway until 1986; 15 years later it was established as a Texas State Park and re-opened in 2001 as Wyler Aerial Tramway State Park. The park features gondola rides, hiking trails, and a magnificent 360° view of some 7,000 square miles that cover 2 countries and 3 states.

Regular park hours are Friday and Saturday 12:00PM to 7:00PM, and Sunday 10:00AM to 5:00PM.
