El Paso Puzzler Mountain Bike Race set for Jan. 20

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - Local bicyclists are now less than two weeks away from competing in the 12th annual El Paso Puzzler Mountain Bike Race.

The 12th annual competition, which is set to begin on January 20, will feature races that are 15, 35, or 50 miles long and go up and down the Franklin Mountains.

"It's great we've got this huge mountain out here," organizer Rodney Dubois told KTSM. "We need to keep it. We need to take advantage of of it. Show what we can do for the mountains."

A portion of the race's proceeds will benefit the Franklin Mountains State Park.
