Cesar Chavez honored with Downtown El Paso march


Well Cesar Chavez died a quarter-century ago, but his impact is still being felt and celebrated in El Paso.

Dozens marched to honor the civil rights leader at the farm workers center in Downtown El Paso Sunday.

Local activists marched for immigrant rights while carrying the symbolic red Chicano flags

Each year, participants honor his achievements and legacy by advocating for change through education and highlighting the continued struggles of farm workers.
