El Paso Animal Services is offering free pet adoptions Saturday as the facility continues working towards becoming a no-kill shelter.

According to a news release, the offer applies to all shelter pets and includes spay/neutering, microchips, ag-appropriate vaccines, and city licensing.

Animal Services is also seeking foster parents who are able to temporarily provide a home to pets in need.

“Fostering a pet will free up space for other incoming pets at the shelter, and will also give Animal Services the opportunity to transfer more animals to other rescues and shelters,” officials wrote in the release.

For those who aren’t in a position to care for animal, there are still ways to help — the shelter is in need of the following donations:

  • Dry Dog and Cat Food
  • Crates and Pet Carriers
  • Canned Puppy and Kitten Food
  • Towels and Blankets (new or gently used)

El Paso Animal Services is located at 5001 Fred Wilson and is open every day from 11 a.m to 6 p.m. Click HERE for more information.
