Clear the Shelters: Meet Rreka, the office dog up for adoption

Clear the Shelters

Meet Rreka, the El Paso Animal Services office dog.

“Every workplace should have an office dog,” Manager Hugo Navarro said. “When you bring her into this environment it brings out her personality.”

Rreka has been at the shelter since May 11, and is one of the animals ready for free adoption during Saturday’s Clear the Shelters event.

Animal Services is offering free adoptions all day Saturday as part of NBC’s nationwide initiative. Click HERE for other participating shelters.

Although employees will be sad to see Rreka go, they say they can’t wait for a family to enjoy the happiness she brings to the office.

“It kind of hurts to see them go, but I know they’re going home,” Navarro said.
