Tawny Davis is a Multi-Media Journalist for KTSM 9 News.
Born and raised in El Paso, Davis was a shy kid growing up never imagining a career in broadcast journalism. It wasn’t until she took a communications class at her high school, Loretto Academy, that she found her voice and decided to pursue her career in broadcasting.
After high school, she received her bachelor’s degree in communications from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. She then decided to pursue her master’s in Broadcast and Digital Journalism with an emphasis in Sports Media at Syracuse University in New York.
After receiving her master’s in August Tawny started at KTSM just a month later. She is excited to work in her hometown and cover the stories that affect the borderland and is always willing to talk to those affected as she knows everyone has a story.
Tawny is also a major Star Wars fan so if you see her out and about feel free to say hello and ask her if she is on the dark side or the light side of the force.
