Daniel Marin is the Emmy Award-winning evening anchor for KTSM 9 News and has been a part of the station since 2014.
In his 15-plus years working in news, Daniel has covered El Paso county and city politics, elections, and border issues both in the Sun City and in Ciudad Juárez. His past interviews include one-on-ones with Hillary Clinton and former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. Daniel’s reporting has also been featured on CNN and MSNBC.
Proud to call himself a homegrown El Pasoan, Daniel is a graduate of Hanks High School. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he received a degree in communication and minored in government and political science.
When he is not in the newsroom, you can catch Daniel watching and reading even more news. He also enjoys live music and was a member of El Paso indie rock band The Royalty.
