Claimed Ammunition Truck Made Wrong Turn into Juarez

Jabin Bogan, the American arrested in Mexico last April  after driving into the country with an ammunition-filled truck, is free after seven long months.

Mexican police arrested Bogan and he entered prison in Veracruz. This week, a Mexican judge agreed to release Bogan if he paid a fine, reportedly 1,500 dollars.

Bogan is from the Dallas area.  He and his family have claimed he was driving a load of ammunition to a wholesale ammunition dealer in Phoenix when he mistakenly got on an exit ramp to Juarez.  He tried to back his truck up and return to the U.S. side, but Mexican police arrested him.
