This Week's Weather (11/23)

After a beautiful weekend, weather turns cooler ahead of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Cold front swings through tonight (Monday night) and ushers in a chilly airmass that will stick around for a couple of days. Expect high temperatures Tuesday-Wednesday to be near or slightly below normal (low 60s). Modest warming heading into Thanksgiving with dry skies the rule. Computer models bring a few clouds our way late Thursday into Friday. Nice on Saturday ahead of a strong trough in the upper levels in the atmosphere that brings in a good shot of cold air Sunday/Monday. Possible Storm Next Week Weather is fairly interesting early next week. The Climate Prediction Center is showing a big plunge of cold air in the region for the week ending December 5th. Along with increased chances for precipitation, this may spell out a chance for cold rain and even snow, especially in the higher elevation. This far out, the weather computer models are fickle at best, so expect more updates to this forecast as we roll through the week. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!!!
