Fairly quiet weather pattern for most of this week in the Borderland. Enjoy the warmth and fair skies while you can as a weather change arrives for the weekend. An upper level trough (seen in the image above at the height level of 300mb in the atmosphere) will swing through the region during the weekend. This storm will likely bring us some wind, clouds, and a few mountain rain showers. Upstate in New Mexico significant snow may hit the higher terrain. Behind it cooler weather will roll into our region and end our unseasonably warm weather.
