No doubt about it, it's very hot here in El Paso; and temperatures look to remain that way for a few days. A mid level high pressure system is going to be bringing the heat for the rest of the work/school week. However we are not the only ones boiling in near triple digit heat. The above map tells the story, all of Texas will see high temperatures well into the middle 90s with many locations hitting 100+. Cities like Dallas, Houston, San Antonio will be boiling just like us! Laredo takes the cake here in Texas however when it comes to heat, with a projected high of 106 today. As usual, it's even hotter in Phoenix, Arizona. They are looking at 110+ heat. Phoenix and the surrounding areas are under Excessive Heat Warnings once again today. This will be their 4th day in a row hotter than 110.. and they haven't been cooler than 100 since June 25th!!!!
