Information from the Climate Prediction Center points toward a near normal temperatures for this month. Though we did run a few degrees below normal last month, things should turn out similar if not a tad warmer here in El Paso as we run through January. Colder than normal weather will likely hang around for the rest of Texas and for much of the Southeastern United States. Near normal temps for the Northeast, Great Lakes, and the rest of the Southwest. Looks to be a warm month for the upper Rockies and the Pacific Northwest. Tomorrow we'll check out the rain/snow outlook.
