October Monthly Stats

November is under way, but we cannot forget to take a look back at the month of October. Some might have considered last month to be a cold and damp month; however the memory can be misleading. Most of the month temperatures ran above normal. It wasn't until the closing days of October did we see our big cool spell and a switch up to our weather pattern. In the end we ended October 2009 only half a degree above the 30 year normal. We were lacking in the rain department as well, with monthly precipitation running over half an inch below normal. Last month can be characterized as a dry with near normal temperatures.
