Microcast: Rain Prediction Wed AM to Thu Noon
The rain storm we talked about last week is on it's way to the Borderland. An upper level disturbance along with a powerful Southern Branch of the Jetstream will help drop some scattered rain and snow late tomorrow into Thursday. Expect 4" to 8" of snow for the Gila and the Sacramento Mountains. Winter Storm Watches(as of this post) have been posted for those areas, along with Culberson County, where sleet may fall. Rain will be the issue for the rest of the lowlands, including El Paso & Las Cruces. Expect between .25" to .5" of rain.
