Warm temps and rain chances
Another gorgeous day across The Borderland as we warmed up into the lower 60's with a high of 60 degrees. That high pressure that was dominating all weekend will now be followed by an upper level low pressure system that will move across the southwestern United States on Monday and bring a few rain showers across southern New Mexico and West Texas Monday and Monday night. Luckily, this is a weaker system which means we will see the return of those westerly winds that will bring mostly dry weather and those warm temps for Tuesday and Wednesday before a cold front brings active weather later into the work week.
This cold front is expected to sweep in Thursday night increasing chances for rain and cooler temperatures through next weekend.
