The coldest weather of Autumn 2009 is on the way. A strong cold front is blasting through the Borderland today. This front brought much colder temperatures after a mild Wednesday start. There has also been wind, rain, and even reports of snow in parts of the Gila. Dryer air punching in to the area will knock back temperatures to levels we haven't seen since last spring. In fact, March 28th was the last time temperatures dropped down to 33 degrees in El Paso; and you have to go back to February 27th to find our last sub-32 temperature, which was 29 degrees that day. Stay tuned to Newschannel 9, as we get the new computer model information, Chuck Debroder will relay the forecasted low temps for tonight.
