Turns out July ended up well below normal in the rain department. How does the month of August look precipitation wise? Well the Climate Prediction Center, part of the National Weather Service, put out their monthly outlook. Seems we have a good chance seeing near normal precipitation this coming month. Weather woes continues for South and Southeast Texas however, as it looks like the drought will continue to worsen under dry conditions. Wet weather will be around for much of Colorado and Kansas with nearly normal precipitation amounts for the rest of the nation.
