Breezy Tuesday, Windy Wednesday
Good morning everyone and happy Tuesaday! We are in for another warm day across the borderland as our temps heat up above average.
Highs are expected to reach a high of 81° in El Paso, and 79° in Las Cruces. We are also tracking down a storm system that has already pushed in plenty of cloud cover over our area, and this should be keeping us a little cooler than yesterday.
This system will not only bring in clouds, but also a slight chance of rain across the borderland. Winds will also pick up slightly as they come in from the west at 10-15+mph.
By Wednesday, we should clear out, but those winds should pick up a little more. Expect winds coming in at about 25mph and then by Thursday those winds will be windy at 35mph.
There will be a brief relief from the windy weather on Friday as we see a back door cold front moves in from the east. This cold front will turn around the wind direction and slow them down as well.
But we will once again see those breezy and gusty condtions on Sunday and Monday.
