A Beautiful Thanksgiving Day Holiday and this Warm Weather Trend Continues into the Weekend
A near normal chill overnight with a low of 35º under clear skies with light winds. The Sun Bowl Parade start temperature at 10 A.M. will be warm up into the low 50's. The temperature will be around the 60º mark by the end of the parade at 12:15 P.M.
An upper level ridge of high pressure just off the west coast and a surface high centered near the four corners area will continue to warm the afternoon high temperatures into the 70's Friday through weekend.
The winds will pick up at the beginning of next week with an upper wave and a weak front that will drop the highs back into the 60's and add a slight chance of a stray shower by midweek.
I will be reporting on Montana Avenue from The 78th First Light Credit Union Sun Bowl Thanksgiving Day Parade on NewsChannel 9 from 10 A.M. to Noon. and then I will have your complete forecast at 5 P.M.
