Odile's moisture to return to the borderland

Saturday, September 20, 2014 - 4:25pm

We saw great weather on Friday for the One Direction concert and for high school football games!

Today we are seeing that moisture accumulate once again.

We should see some of Odile's rich moisture, which is currently over the Midland area, work its way back west over our area tonight and Sunday as a back door cool front pushes into our region.

This front will bring places like Hudspeth County significant rainfall once again tonight. Deming and west of the Rio Grand will see the best chances of rain Sunday.

The cool front will stall over the borderland region on Monday, which will give us all somewhat equal chances for rain.

With the recent rains, flash flooding continue to be a huge concern for the borderland region. So keep an eye out for any watch or warning that may be issued for the area in the next coming days.

By Tuesday, however, our area should be back to a drier pattern with highs closer to average temperatures!

Fall is now only a couple of days away!
