One cool day before a quick weekend warm up!

Thursday, March 26, 2015 - 10:01pm

A backdoor cold front pushed through the region early this morning and we hit our cooler predicted afternoon high of 68º 3:49 P.M. at the El Paso International Airport.

Clear skies and light winds will make the Borderland  colder overnight into early Friday morning.

Temperatures will rebound this weekend with highs well above normal.

On Monday an approaching upper level storm system will bring a slight chance for rain to the region.

Early next week a sharp disturbance moves through the area increasing chances for rain.

A strong Pacific low pressure system will track in and producing our first significant wind and dust event of the Spring.
