Hot Weather Safety Tips

With the impending record heat we wanted to remind everyone of important hot weather safety tips:

Remember to take it easy during this upcoming heat spell.  Make use of the "buddy system" promoted by the Extreme Weather Task Force and various city organizations. Check on the elderly frequently and remember the young and the pets during this extreme heat. For more information on heat safety check out this information from the National Weather Service.

With a big dome of mid/upper level high pressure taking over through next week, expect very little relief from this possible heat wave. Here is a look at the 7 day forecast.
