Dusty End To Holiday Weekend

Significant upper level storm brought gusts and dusts to El Paso, Las Cruces, and the surrounding areas this past weekend. The bulk of the wind energy rolled through on Sunday, blanketing most of the Sun City with dust. No major reports of damage, but winds made for an ugly end to the long Thanksgiving weekend.

Today's another breezy day behind a strong cold front. We'll see unseasonable chilly weather next few days before we close out the work week with generous sunshine and warmth.

All the rain we had in September and again last night has made many desert creatures come out from hiding and they are getting noticed!  I have written recently in “Weather Talk”...
