Plenty of clouds for your weekend, thanks to an upper level storm system that formed and moved off the Baja California. This storm lacks moisture, so rain chances will exist through the weekend, but will remain mainly limited through tomorrow. The more major storm system heads our way next week. Below is the upper level atmospheric set up for Wednesday. Strong low pressure gets cut-off from the main flow. This storm just might drive moisture and destabilize our atmosphere enough to bring more widespread shower and thunderstorm activity for West Texas and Southern New Mexico, generally in the Tuesday to Friday time period. Outdoor plans next week? Plan accordingly.
