Triple digits continue with afternoon showers Tuesday

Tuesday, July 22, 2014 - 7:33am

Perfect ingredients for some good afternoon showers remain in the borderland for Tuesday, and the weather should look a lot like Monday's weather.

That high pressure continues to dominate our region meaning another round of hot afternoon temperatures, and triple digits for The Sun City.

Winds will generally become easterly at 5 to 15 mph.

By Wednesday, we should begin to dry out a little, but there is still a 10% chance for afternoon showers lasting through Friday, before we see better rain chances this weekend.

Temperatures will remain above normal but may lose a couple of degrees and drop back below 100 degrees for El Paso through Friday.

Stay safe and hydrated this week.
