Trevor Connor is proud to be starting his reporting career at NewsChannel 9. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, he got his first taste of broadcast journalism at California Lutheran University, where he anchored and reported for the school news show for a year. After graduating in May 2007, Trevor took a part-time job in the fall as a sports reporter for Maxpreps.com. There he traveled the country on their National Game of the Week Tour, covering high school football games in Kentucky, California, Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio, Illinois and New Jersey. But he knew that news was his true calling, and in December 2007 he joined the NewsChannel 9 team.

Trevor enjoys news reporting because every day is different: different issues, different places, and different people. He also enjoys the process of putting together a news story - starting with an idea and watching it evolve into the final product.

In his spare time, Trevor likes to watch his three favorite sports: Football, Basketball and Baseball. He is also a music enthusiast and enjoys listening to classic rock and playing the drums.
