Benjamin, who was born and raised in El Paso/Juarez, has been passionate about journalism ever since he was a kid and is proud to be reporting in his hometown. He studied journalism and advanced communications at Riverside Career and Technical Center and graduated in 2010.

Before returning to his roots, Benjamin started his career as a news correspondent for KVMD Los Angeles in Guadalajara, Mexico, he then spent nearly three years as news reporter and producer for KTDO in El Paso.

During his career, Benjamin has been privileged enough to interview Congressman Ron Paul, Governor Rick Perry, Chihuahua Governor Cesar Duarte and former Mexican presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. His stories have been featured on NBC News, NBC Latino and MSN.

Benjamin loves watching movies, singing and playing the piano in his spare time. He also loves taking in the great culture the area offers.
