Alleged Victim of Franklin Football Player Suspended

EL PASO - Cesar Carreon, the Franklin High School football player allegedly assaulted by one of his teammates last week has been suspended by the school, according to his father.

School officials informed Cesar Carreon that he will receive 2 days of in-school suspension when class begin next week.

EPISD would not confirm the suspension nor would they say if Logan Mansfield was disciplined citing privacy laws.

Mansfield was arrested on misdemeanor assault charges.

17-year-old Logan Mansfield, was an All-District Lineman for the Cougars last season.
