With a chance to advance to the world series, the Texas Rangers could not overcome the big arm of CC Sabathia and the big bats of the Yankees Wednesday falling 7-2 in the Bronx.

Sabathia gave up 2 runs in six innings of work striking out 7 while his counterpart Chris Wilson gave up 6 runs including 2 homeruns in five innings.

Game six of the series moves to Ranger Ballpark in Arlington Friday where Texas has a chance to win the series in front of their home crowd and play in the franchises first ever World Series.
